Brad Fellers of Swan Lake Golf
Resort in Plymouth fired 66 to take the title of the third and final Pepsi/Club
Car Tournament Series event for 2007.
Playing at Morris Park CC in
South Bend, the field quickly found that position off the tee was crucial on
the 6,549-yard golf course. Fellers easily managed the short dog-leg par fours.
“I love these kind of golf courses, lots of cut shot drives and a few hooks.
It’s fun,” stated Fellers. In addition to placing his teeshots, Fellers was
able to make the putts for six birdies and only two bogeys on the par 70 Morris
Park golf course.
Tied for second place were Dave Pugh of Mystic Hills
GC and Rob Knuckles from Deer Creek GC, both with 1-under 69s. Pugh carded five
birdies for his round of 37-32. Knuckles posted 35 going out and 34 coming in.
Cary Hungate of Kokomo CC and Rick Hemsoth were
the low senior PGA at even par. Ray Goddard was the low super senior finisher
with 72.
